The Hackler Course

The home of the Chanticleers! This par 72 golf course is operated by the University’s Professional Golf Management program and the maintained by Horry Georgetown Technical College’s Sports Turf Management Program. It is one of only 20 university programs accredited by the PGA of America.The golf course is only a 3 wood away from the University and just a short drive from the beach. Our clubhouse has a fully stocked golf shop with officially licensed Chanticleer apparel and a grill with a wide variety of breakfast and lunch entrees. The Hackler Course practice facility offers an all grass driving range, practice bunker and a 3,000 square foot putting green to warm you up before your round. We have an excellent tournament program, and specialize in golf outings, corporate outings and clinics; no matter the size. Advance reservations are recommended (especially during the peak season-Mar. Apr. Sep. Oct.) but not always necessary. We would like to personally invite you to be our guest for the day, once you experience the warm and courteous atmosphere our staff creates, you may never want to leave.
